COWL: cowl based off of the 1989 batman film so just like in the film is is not 100% smooth it has some slight defects all over. this cowl is made of a flexible urethane and will fit any standard adult size head up to 24 inches but if you have a smaller head you can stuf the back of the mask with a hand towel this is a seamless cowl so their is no slit down the back or a seam line any where on it. it does not come with a symbol but we can provide a resin symbol if needed just contact us for a price. CHEST: this is a batman style torso based off of the 1989 batman film so just like in the film is is not 100% smooth it has some slight defects all over and a seamline down the side. this torso is made of a flexible black urethane and will fit any standard adult size chest it is 22 inches from shoulder to shoulder and 17 inches from the color to teh botom of the chest. LEGS: this is a set of legs based off of the 89 batman movie. just like in the film it is not 100% smooth. it ha ssome slight defects all over it. their is no seam down the side and it is made of flexable urethane. Because all standard spandex items are based upon a generic pattern, it is to be understood by the buyer that some areas may be slightly looser fitting than preferred. KING KONG Original 1933 RKO prop Shield This is one of the most amazing items you will ever have a chance to bid on, an actual, Original Prop from the 1933 RKO – KING KONG. The stop motion classic that set the standard for Horror, Sci Fi and Dinosaur adventure films for 80 years to come and is still as powerful and entertaining as the day it was released all those years ago! The item being offered is a native shield, seen on the Left side of drum. The King Kong DRUM prop is pictured for authentication purposes only. There have only been two “stars” of stop-motion model animation WILLIS O’BRIEN who made the 1933 KING KONG and RAY HARRYHAUSEN who made 7th VOYAGE OF SINBAD, VALLEY OF GWANGI and JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS, and of all the films made by the two of them, the original 1933 KING KONG is unquestionably the greatest and most significant in film history. PROFILES IN HISTORY auction house in Calabasas Hills, CA sold four of the same type of shields in their June 10 – 12, 2010 auction. It was the Hollywood Auction #40 Lot # 766 *LOT #766. King Kong collection of native shields (RKO, 1933) Large oval (4) fabricated of painted fiberboard, wood, leather, and muslin-wrappings brandished by natives of Skull Island in KING KONG , and almost certainly recycled for use again in SHE and other RKO productions. Shields range in size from 20 x 35 in. (plus attached pole) to 19 x 51 in. From the studio lot once the home of RKO and Pathe. Impressive assortment of genuine artifacts from one of the most beloved and significant horror films of all time. Condition varies, with some chipping to fiberboard edges, broken leather straps, etc., but for the most part are complete and intact. OVERVIEW: The 1957-1960 Power Giant Era Dodge trucks were interesting, innovative and exciting in their day. This 1960 Dodge P Series D-100 Sweptline Half-Ton Pickup has been a western vehicle its entire life. Originally from California, it came to Canada and BC’s lower mainland in the early 1980’s, when acquired by the present owners as an original rust free truck with a dent free box. It was restored in the mid 1990’s with chassis, mechanical, and interior modifications, and came with them when they relocated to southern Alberta in 2000 upon retiring. It carries serial # 1180121376, and the odometer shows 73,382 kilometers. In the last 10 years this truck has logged about 28,000 kms., total actual mileage is unknown. This is a fairly scarce truck today, as total model year production of ½ ton chassis trucks with 108” wheelbase was 12,983 six cylinder units, and only 2,837 eight cylinder units. These production figures include all ½ ton body styles, so Sweptline Pickup numbers are even less. This Dodge rolls on a completely rebuilt 1976 Dodge ½ ton chassis, and is powered by a completely rebuilt 1976 Dodge mild performance 360 ci. V8 engine. The modifications appear nicely done and tasteful. It starts easily, runs smooth, and drives well. It has proven its reliability by having been a daily driver to and from work prior to the owner retiring, and he was very picky about its upkeep. Subsequently during his retirement in Alberta, the owner used it primarily for recreational purposes on fair weather days, and about 5 years ago had the body repainted. This truck has always been garage stored by the present owners and never left out in the elements. This truck has participated in numerous events, shows and tours, and has received multiple recognition awards including Best Truck at the 1991 Vancouver Motor Show. It has also been featured in Canadian Classics magazine. This eye catching pickup is very clean, tidy, and straight. The respectful manner in which it was enjoyed and maintained has ensured that it retains excellent roadworthiness. It garners attention where ever it goes, and it shows very well. DRIVETRAIN: The engine is a 1976 360 ci. V8 and was rebuilt by a professional Chrysler mechanic who was also involved in much of the other mechanical work on the truck. The engine rebuild was thorough and complete, including new pistons, valves, a mild RV cam, balancing, etc… The engine starts easily and runs smooth, and it sounds good with a nice bark to it. It has a RamAir set up with nice intake plenums, and equipped with a Carter ABS 4 bbl. Exhaust manifolds are ceramic coated. All other components on and around the engine are either new or rebuilt. The original hood hinges have been chromed, but could perhaps use new springs as the owner was using a prop rod to help support the hood when opened. The engine compartment and components are clean and tidy. Charging system has an alternator. Equipped with an Aurora electronic ignition mounted on the firewall. The radiator was flushed, cleaned and tested, and has an overflow reservoir along with a transmission cooler. A thermostatic fan is located in front of the rad, and the main fan is a 7-blade aluminum unit. All hoses and belts are in good condition. Approximately 6 years ago, it was fitted with a new A-500 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It is column shift and it shifts as it should. There is an OD shut off switch on the dash. The original push button shift box is non functional. The rear axle is a 9 ¼”, ‘92-93 Dodge truck and believed to be 3.23 gears with posi-track. It received new bearings and seals as required. This truck can cruise highway speeds easily at low RPMs. CHASSIS: This truck rides on a 1976 Dodge ½ ton pickup chassis and is equipped with power steering and brakes. The frame was shortened 13”, new frame/body mounts were fabricated, and it was sandblasted and painted. The chassis is clean apart from the road dirt of its limited miles since the build. Front end work included ball joints and steering components as required, along with a complete overhaul of the braking system which has a chrome plated master cylinder. Front coil spring and rear leaf spring suspension maintains the truck in a correct and proper looking stance and make for a nice handling ride. New shocks all around, rears are air, not sure on fronts. Complete new dual exhaust system with aluminized pipes and in excellent condition, and has chrome tips. The gas tank is located within the frame at the rear of the vehicle. The tires are a matched set of Broadway Classic P235/75R15 M+S radials with 1 ½” white walls, they are in good condition with very good tread remaining. They are mounted on a set of original wheels sporting full disc Dodge wheelcovers. BODY & PAINT: This was a very rust and dent free truck prior to body restoration, with original paint and primer spots showing through. Iit is a very solid unit with no hidden surprises or weak areas. In the 30 years of owning the truck the owner had the body painted twice, both times it was stripped down to bare metal, and required virtually no filler. The most recent paint work was done 5 years ago and is an overall good job. The body and paint still looks fresh and shows extremely well with very little wear. Having seen minimal miles since, it is free of rock chips or road rash. 3M clear protective film was applied to the leading edge of the rear wheel flares and has done its job. The top center area of the roof does have a bit of a dry finish, not noticeable unless you stand above the roof. The body and fenders are quite straight, as is the hood. The sill steps are very solid and rubber covered. There is a blemish on the right front fender, a paint blister along the crease line, which appears to likely be a contaminant problem as opposed to a rust issue. The box is fully restored in and out. The box sides still retain the original dimples from the factory spot welds for the rear wells to the box sides, a testimonial to the owners refusal to use filler. The box is fitted with an attractive black Armor roll cover, and also has chromed tailgate latches with plastic coated chains. The box floor has utility carpeting with a thick underlay. The floor underneath was nicely painted, is clean, solid, and rust free. The tailgate is very straight, but does show some rust blisters along the bottom roll. This tailgate was a replacement and not original to this truck, as when acquired it had a box canopy without the proper tailgate. It sports a set of suited mud guards. The front ones have the Ram logo, and the rears have a reflective stainless plate. ELECTRICAL: The wiring harness is ’76 Dodge truck, was re-loomed and is in good condition. The fuse panel is located inside the glove box for easy access. A master battery disconnect switch is located between the seat and step sill on the drivers side. Battery is located in a toolbox mounted in the truck box. 6-way power drivers seat. The windshield wipers are electric, and there is an electric interior fan mounted top center between the sun visors. The instrument cluster is 1976 Dodge truck, mounted within a custom made chrome surround. Gauges in cluster include temperature, oil pressure, alternator, and water temp. 2 custom gauges are mounted left side under dash for tachometer and water temp. Original heater with heater fan. Music is provided by way of an AudioVox am/fm cassette with speakers mounted in the rear cab corners. Reception from a nicely fitted fender antenna. Truck has both original and added air horns. Equipped with backup lights, and amber side cowl lights added for visibility. Front turn signal lenses are clear plastic originals with amber bulbs. There is also a hitch receiver with a 7-way wiring connector, which was used for pulling a lightweight Trillium holiday trailer. This matching trailer is described in this listing and shown in one of the pics, it is available but is not part of this auction. INTERIOR: The custom 60/40 split bucket seats with center fold down armrest are from a 1998 Oldsmobile, blue cloth in excellent condition and equipped with lap belts. The driver side is 6-way power. Outer armrest on drivers door. ABC fire extinguisher mounted below seat above left step sill. Updated steering wheel and column from ’76 Dodge. Combination cloth/vinyl door panels in good condition. Upper interior cardboard panels are repainted originals. Headliner is very nice original with pinhole pattern. Visors are also in good condition. Black carpeting is good but has a couple of melt spots on left side of center hump. The windshield is good apart from one repaired bulls-eye. All other glass is good. The door windows roll up/down smoothly and the door weatherstrips and glass run channels were replaced with new. BRIGHTWORK: All chrome and stainless brightwork on the truck ranges from good to excellent original with some new chrome. This truck sports the rare and sought after optional stainless windshield surround trim. Bright trim surround has been added to the exterior of the rear window. The Dodge ram hood ornament is a nice fitting addition and has good shine on the chrome. Stainless fender moldings on both sides has some minor dents ahead of the doors, easily repaired and polished out. The aluminum grille is in very nice condition as is the other front chrome and stainless. Chromed headlamp brows have been added. Chrome door mirrors, arms and bases. Twin chromed dummy spot lights added on outer cowl. Front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed along with lower grille bar and headlamp doors. The rear step bumper is a nice fit and has the Ram logo in the rubber pads. Overall the pot metal items are in good original condition and without pitting. Interior custom chrome includes the instrument surround, ash tray lid, and glove box door. The hubcaps are original full disc wheel covers, quite rare, in nice condition. SUMMARY: There is a cover which goes with the truck, along with some spare stainless side trim pieces and original sales literature. The spare tire is a space saver located in the box. The truck sports a year of manufacture Farm Commercial Vehicle Alberta license plate. In short, this was a nice original truck which was revitalized with appropriate and nicely done modifications to make it a more powerful, nicer riding daily driver and show truck. It has proven itself reliable for over 15 years and remains very straight, very clean, with well above average body and paint. It can be maintained and kept roadworthy with over-the-counter available parts. This rare pickup is turnkey ready to cruise and show, and is a nice driver. In January 2011 the truck was realistically appraised at $20,000. by a well known and respected long time appraiser of collectible vehicles in Calgary. The truck is being offered with a reasonable reserve well below its appraised value. 1974 TRILLIUM HOLIDAY TRAILER (OPTIONAL): As mentioned and shown in one picture, there is a matching 13’ Trillium trailer that traveled frequently with this Dodge truck. The successful bidder will have first right of refusal to purchase the trailer along with the truck, but be aware that the trailer is not included in the auction and you are bidding on the truck only. The trailer is an excellent example of a very popular travel trailer, painted to complement the 1960 Dodge tow vehicle. It is in overall excellent condition and very clean, and it received the same attention to detail, roadworthiness and upkeep as the pickup. It also was always kept in covered storage. Exterior wise, it has new radial tires and sports Dodge wheel discs. In 2009 the frame was reinforced, all windows were re-sealed, and a new roof top air vent was installed. It has exterior lights, which work off battery or electric, and water supply is by hose hook-up. A locking exterior door was also added on each side to access storage compartments. Upon entering the interior there is a custom wooden screen secondary door. All interior walls are in very nice original condition and have not been re-painted. There is a closet, and lots of storage under the bed and the ‘goucho’ bench seat at the front. Amenities include a small sink, a 2-burner propane stove, a 2-way fridge (propane or electric), and a porta-potty. A new foam mattress was installed in 2004, and sitting areas received new foam cushioning and upholstery. In short, a very clean, tidy and well maintained unit. This is an auction for: The Exorcist Regan prop display head bust with base Items condition: Brand New, painted, with a nice wig attached and styled, comes complete with black wooden stand with printed logo nameplate. Description: Up for sale is a Regan head from the movie The Exorcist. Its a full head casting complete with the full ears and its cast from one of the movie mold stunt heads seen in the film where the head turns around. I acquired the casting from a friend of mine who used to make them (he used to sell blanks awhile back on ebay but no longer does – these castings used to sell for $350 for a blank one so this is an incredible deal to get one finished with a base and wig) and they are done in thick semi translucent flesh resin and then finished by me (painted, haired, and built the stand for it as shown). This prop is extremely high quality and looks like it just jumped out of the film. Theres hours of paint work that goes into this with subtle skin details and wounds. The eyes are very detailed as well and the nice wig attached stylized to look like the film make it even more realistic. It looks even better in person and will be sure to scare many visitors. This is one of the nicest Exorcist props out there and i’ll only be offering it for a very limited time. The pics shown are of a previous copy i painted which was sold and shipped.
